The journey from colored hair to natural was worth every hard day that I put myself through to get to where I am today. There is nothing wrong with growing older and letting your natural hair, sparkles come through. It’s very freeing.
I found your blog searching for the author of "Don't Forget Your Girlfriends." I stayed because you are so real and refreshing and somehow became a voice of comfort as 53 year old me sat frumpy and insecure wandering around technology, and clothes, and hair, and all things middle age.
Your hair is beautiful and gives me a hope for my own color transition, and so many of your other posts were an encouragement I didn't know I needed.
And now, for the reason I was searching and found you, did you author the post "Don't forget your girlfriends" in January 2008? If not, do you know who did? I'd love to give credit when I share it with my four sisters.
